Lovely staff, lovely room (although the sink could have used a spritz of bleach, and the floor should be more carefully mopped - there's always something anywhere you go - even the Ritz, I'm sure!). The bed was SO comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud!

You will want to make sure and bring a sleeping mask, if light bothers you when you sleep. Hubby didn't mind, but, to me, there seemed like too much light was coming in from the windows, even though both screen and blind were closed. Sleeping mask made it a non-issue.

The room is very nicely appointed. One problem was the tiny amount of space between the bed and the desk chair. We should have moved it, and will in the future. If you get up in the night, you may forget it's there and trip.

Great climate control, nice big TV. Pretty quiet. They got us a room on a high floor, away from the elevator, just as we requested. No surprises, just a bill under the door in the morning. All in all, a nice stay!

I stay in hotels hundreds of days a year, easily one of my new favorites. Centrally located and super easy to get to. As soon as you walk in the front lobby your greeted warmly and welcomed and assisted in anyway you need. Fresh cookies in the lobby and super easy check in. The lobby is quaint and contemperary, there is a full service bar and the bartender is super friendly. We stayed on new years eve so expected all of atlanta to be a party. We werent disappointed with the atlanta party and was overwhelmed at the assistance afforded us by the staff of the hotel. The rooms are clean and feel warm and cozy. There is pargoe flooring and a large rug makes the room feel homey. Microwave, refer, large tv, clean showers and bathroom, extra blankets in the closet and VERY quite. The hotel also has a great ammenity. Anywhere within 3 miles there is free motel shuttle. Of course the shuttles are as plush as the hotel itself. Stretch hummer limos dawned in black and subtle motel name on the door. Again I must mention its free. Buckhead is clean, safe and beautiful. The only issue with our stay was waking up on nys day with the hotel and block around it out of power. A squirrel blew the transformer out front st the hotel lost power. No panic. Woke, emergency lights were on in the hall and with the elevators out had to take the stairs to the lobby. Candles lit everywhere and staff scrambling to make breakfast as pleasant as possible and done with FANTASTIC fashion. Power was quickly restored in the rain by georgia powerand light and the hotel went full tilt and boogy. Theres a staff chef there for breakfast in the morning welcoming you and making fresh omlets with you choices of ingriedents. All an ammenity. Since the power went out there was NO rush to get people checked out which was a super friendly thing being new years day. The owner/manager walks his property checcking on things regurlarly making sure things are safe and to his standard. Overall PERFECT STAY AND I HIGHLY SUGEST A STAY!!
