“Good for Braves Games”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

We have to agree with many of the posts already on Trip Advisor for this hotel. This place is very economical, is easy to get to if you are coming into the city north bound on I-75, has free parking and is an easy, safe walk to Turner Field. Do not follow the driving directions posted on the hotel’s web site. Get off I-75 at exit 245 and turn left at the first light. Use Google Maps with hotels option for an excellent view of the hotel’s location.
Our room had stained carpet and a hole in the bed spread which was an immediate turn off, but for the price and location we were not going to complain. The front desk staff let us check in around 2:10PM when check in is listed as 3 to 4PM. Note to Comfort Inn national managers……If you figure out a floor covering that is NOT CARPET you just might take away one of the biggest complaints your gusts have about your hotels. We would stay here again for a Braves game because of the location and value.

My son and I see different ballparks every year. This hotel was outstanding for its proximity to Turner field (practically across the street) and the cost was reasonable. Other than a family from New Jersey who didn't know how to drive, our experience here was pretty good. The check-in, right after 3pm had a line and took a bit of time. But the room was clean, had a fridge, and did I mention, was perfect for seeing a Braves game.

This is one of the worst Comfort Inns I have ever stayed in. The front desk staff was rude and very slow in checking me in. Said there were no rooms clean then all of a sudden, there were 20 clean rooms. This after waiting 3 hours. The elevators smell like someone crapped in them. Walked down to the BBQ place and the neighborhood is very sketchy. Room: Crap. The A/C finally cooled the room down at about 9:00 that night, and it wasn't even in the 90's today. The bathroom was filthy. Hair from previous guests on the toilet, a fake fingernail laying on the floor, a shower with putty and caulk holding the shower rod up, and a shower curtain that wouldn't close. The towels and wash cloths were so thin I could see my hand through it. I would not recommend staying here under any circumstance.

Across the street from Turner Field, this is a great place to stay if attending Braves games. Hotel is undergoing renovations, but rooms are clean and all non-smoking. Ample parking, OK breakfast. Close to Zoo Atlanta and the Aquarium.

This hotel is SO out of date. We stayed there (July 2013) for my husband's birthday and to go to 2 Braves games. It is right across the street from Turner Field, otherwise, it would go out of business (even the housekeepers say so). Cleanliness is at best, so-so, breakfast is so-so at best, there is no fitness room; you have to go to the Country Inn and Suites (next door and would have stayed there but were sold out). We decided not to go to the pool which didn't look great. Unless you like to do stairs, the two elevators are used by housekeeping and you have to wait for a long time and are HOT. I thought I would melt going to the 6th (top) floor. It is convenient to Turner Field, but that is ALL. We flew so had to depend on taxi service downtown - 45 minutes waiting and expensive. Also do not use Citinet Limos. Bad, and bad!

We were put up here by delta airlines. We missed our flight due to bad weather, and a broken gangway. The hotel lobby was very loud and crazy do to an event taking place. We had 3 rooms and two of them smelled so bad of smoke. The sheets were all damp, and there was garbage on bathroom floor. (Soap wrapper, deodorant top). Worst place to stay. You are better off to sleep on floor in the airport.

Not fancy, or even up to date, but it is clean, safe, and a 5 minute walk to the game. There are not a lot of restaurants in walking distance but we strolled to the game, ate there, and had the most pleasant game experience since we didn't have to fight traffic or the subway.
