Very spacious public areas. My room was adequate size, however the lighting in the room was very poor, regardless of the 4 lamps in the room. The phone did not work, as it only would receive outside calls, but I could not make any call, even to the hotel operator. The hall phone by the elevator also did not work; when I dialed "O", I was connected to a hospital scheduling recording! The bathtub hot water knob (clear plastic) was filthy and needs to be taken apart to be cleaned. The fitness center was good, but it could use another exercise mat or two. The pluses: all of the staff were friendly and courteous, free brewed coffee in the lower lobby, and bicycles fir guest use (gratis), walking distance to CDC, new Emory Point (small newly opened urban mall with lots of places to eat and women's clothing store) and Emory Univ.
