“A good hotel close to the airport if your plane arrives late in the day.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

The hotel is a short distance from the airport and offers an airport shuttle. Helpful valet parking made for a speedy check in/ check out . The room was very clean and comfortable and contained all you would need for an overnight stay. Delivered what it promised. Would stay again.

I've stayed at the hotel numerous times and the front desk is always very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are nice size but I found a hair in my shower. This aways freaks me out because I don't feel like it was properly cleaned.
My room was across from the ice machine but I didn't hear anything.
When I went down to check out, there were cookies. I had to have one. I didn't eat at the hotel because it's very pricey.
The van took about 20 minutes to pick us up but was pretty much on time when we checked out.

Showed up at exhausted after midnight from our wedding. Staff was very friendly. I had booked a park and fly but ended up not needing it so they allowed me to just pay for a less expensive single night. I had also fedexed my suitcase to the hotel which was brought to our room after we arrived.
Being able to get on the tram directly to the airport at 5am instead of relying on a shuttle makes the hotel 100% worth the cost. Definitely would stay at this hotel before any early flight out of Atlanta.

From the check in to the restaurant to check out, the staff here was the most positive group of people I have met in a long time. Yes the hotel was in a great location, the facility and my room were great but it was the staff that made for a great experience for a tired traveler. I think everyone who worked here must have been a cheerleader at some time in their life.

Connected by a tram from the mega-airport this was a pleasant surprise. The area had a quiet feel, almost as if one were in a little park, not adjacent to the world's biggest airport.
The hotel is attractive, inside and out. It is well maintained and clean.
The staff was friendly and the lobby was well wired and well laid out.
The rooms were sufficiently big so as not to feel cramped and they were clean. The mattresses were GREAT.
The gym was spacious, well equipped and has a pool.
The food was good.
All told, if one must overnight at Hartsfield this is a good choice.
P.S. There are 2 Marriott's at the airport so choose the right one, or go to the one you choose.

I needed to spend the night at ATL airport and found this hotel. My experience with ATL in the evening is the crush of people waiting for the various hotel vans, and it's every man for himself. I really didn't want that experience. The ATL Sky Train stops at the hotel. What a joy. Hotel was lovely. The rooms were very nice and what you expect from Marriott. I did not eat at the hotel, but the bar area and restaurant appeared quite busy. I have stayed twice and find it very convenient.

I spent 5 nights at this Marriott for a convention. Great place. I would have given this an excellent rating, except for the disappearance of my sunglasses & a few other things we had on the nightstand & tv stand, while we were downstairs eating. No proof who got them, not accusing anyone, but the room was cleaned while we were downstairs eating. I talked with the desk person, filled out a paper & now over 2 years later, haven't heard anything back. ("The when did you travel?" only goes back to Nov 2012, so I used that. It was really August 2011.)
But, besides that, beautiful hotel, the main lobby is just beautiful, good food, great drinks at the bar, friendly staff. I would visit this hotel again, just wont leave anything in the room again.
