“Shhh... Don't tell anyone!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

Don't tell anyone about this secret place, they have the most wonderful coffee and view ever!
The baristas are so nice and make perfect drinks. But don't tell anyone, I want to still be able to visit and get one of the chairs on the observation deck overlooking the Hooch... :-)

“Love to bring our friends here to Akers Mill!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

I can see that there has been alot of thought and planning put into the surroundings and environment. I am hopeful that in days to come there will be improved customer service.

“Great Coffee, Comfortable Space”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Thousand Hills is a great change of place from the big coffee chains. It is a bit quirky and very comfortable and welcoming. The only thing you need to know is that it is best if you have a bit of time, as there is no pre-brewed coffee. Only espresso drinks and french press. But if you have the time, it's worth the wait. A great, relaxing place to pass a spare hour.

“Worth finding if you have time to spend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Early in the day the place was only half full. The surroundings, right on the river bank, are first rate, and inside seating is quite nice. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Good conversation and a coffee make time pass unnoticed

“Great coffee that does good for others”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

We visited the Akers Mill location for the first time yesterday, and it's strikingly beautiful with the Chattahoochee River in sight. You can even hear the pleasant sound of the rushing water if you are on the deck. We are also regulars at the cozy Roswell location and that location is appealing in its own way. There are nights with live performances there. The coffee you purchase at any of the Land of a Thousand Hills locations helps hard working farmers in Rwanda, Haiti, or Thailand, by paying them fairly. We usually get a french press and some tasty treat to share. The staff is always warm, adept, and friendly. We have purchased a beautiful handmade woven basket made by women in Rwanda and given it as a gift.
