I've dined at The Vortex for years and had not heard of this place. It took a sleepless night for me to watch The Travel Channel segment on this place to "discover" it. I'm not sure that they want to be known by the obscure location (in the far backside of a loft complex). As advertized it is small, very interesting art (not so different from The Vortex) and they serve their own style of Mexican food. The biggest complaint from our group was it was hard to hear each other (and we came early when only 3 other tables were being served, although the group next to us were loud to begin with). As for the food everyone was for the most part pleased with the quality (although for some reason my wife's beans and rice were cold - odd). They didn't skimp on the margarita's tequila - just too much ice. Our next trip will be on a day that we know the weather will permit to eat outside on the patio and give other items on the menu a try. Like many people we're tired of the same old Mexican food.
