My family enjoys visiting presidential libraries and this one was very well done. As with all of them the spotlight is on the president’s past and his presidency. The exhibits were well done and it was a remarkable experience to see the Nobel Peace medal. What made library unique though was what President Carter has done since leaving the White House. Since he was rather young when he “retired” from politics, he and his wife have spent the last 30 plus years trying to make the world a better place for everyone both here in the US and abroad.. The library does a good job of showcasing the many things President Carter has done and continues to do. He is truly a remarkable human being. This was a very special Atlanta attraction located a mile or so from busy downtown in a beautiful tranquil park.
