“History Buffs Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

Not easy to get to, but worth the trek, whatever your political leanings. The library is a wealth of history and presents different shows all the time. No still cameras are allowed, but video is fine. Not the most expensive trip, but not the cheapest either. Well worth it though !

If you ever want to know about contemporary world matters you should visit the Carter Center. This place provides great information for the history buff and passive observer alike.

“Learned a lot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

A great way to learn history. Interesting visiting a presidential library for a living ex-president who is so active. Much of the museum is dedicated to post-presidential work.

“Lots of information”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

In April, the grounds of the Library and Museum were beautiful, lush with tulips and pansies.
The museum provided a glimpse of the Carters and the humanitarian work that they have done since his Presidency.
The cafe provided a very inexpensive light lunch with a tasty soup and salad for less than $5.00.

“Beautiful Sanctuary of Peace in the Middle of Fast & Busy Atlanta”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

I recently attended the garden with my singles ministry from church.

We brought chairs & picnic foods & sat near the lake having great discussion
& enjoying the Spring weather.

The grounds are kept well & the view of some of the downtown buildings like the Bank of America building is a nice touch.

There was a wedding at the museum which I'm sure was beautiful.

My only recommendation would be for them center to add more flowers to the property.

This is a must do, for any beautiful day!
