“NIce property, nice price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2006

Had gone to Atlanta for a family function. The hotel we were supposed to stay in was one of the bigger properties, however there are four of us and the room only had two doubles(why put in new beds and only put in doubles?). I decided to stay at the Comfort Suites instead because of the two queen beds. Check in was easy no problems. The room was very large and clean and not only had the two queen beds but a pull out sofa as well. This was a big hit with my two teenagers-they did not have to share a bed.The pullout was also very comfortable-unusual for a pullout sofa. The room was not a suite, but a very large room with a small divider between the couch and bed area. I did know this ahead of time so I knew there were not two rooms. It had a small refrigerator and a microwave. This was helpful when we brought leftovers back and the kids wanted to eat them later.

One nice feature was the breakfast. There were standard items as well as scrambled eggs, packaged sausage biscuits and make your own waffles. I like to stay in a hotel with breakfast so I dont have to hunt a place to eat in the morning. Also with the four of us it saves quite a bit by not having to eat breakfast out.

I woould definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent hotel to stay in. My girlfriend and I stayed there over the weekend to attend a Falcons game. Very clean, breakfast is awesome and you have a lot of shopping malls and restaurants right there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially young couples!

Beautiful hotel in every way. Comfortable beds in a very nice room. Bathroom was black marble and cherry wood very nice. The suites are large and comfortable and the hallways were quiet. Business center is accomodating with fax and computer, fitness room has sauna!

Breakfast was the most exciting part! Options included: Organic berries, organic cereals and even Soy Milk!!! That is really great news for folks looking for something besides the standard continental breakfast. Bacon, sausage, eggs and a plethora of other foods filled in the rest.

Looking forward to a quick return...

We booked a room in this hotel because a relative was in a nearby hospital. I wish I had known what we were getting into. This hotel is okay on the first floor, although it didn't look new to me. The elevators were slow and hot. I was given a non-smoking room that reeked of cigarettes. The refrigerator in the room wasn't cooling at all, so we turned the thermostat to max. It still wasn't cool the next morning. The garbage cans had not been emptied after the previous occupants left. After spending all day at the hospital we came back to a very hot and stuffy room. Turns out the A/C was completely frozen. I called the front desk and complained. We were given a fan. The next morning I spoke with the manager about the problem and his only response was that he'd send a maintenance man up to check it sometime soon. We checked out that day and will not be back.

Stayed here for a week for business -- I'm from the Atlanta area (and this area specifically) and I know this is a safe, clean area to stay in that's also close to my office. The entire building has undergone a $4.5 million renovation recently and it definitely shows. A friend of mine stayed here 2 years ago and it was definitely not as nice. The decor was pretty and the free breakfast was a perk before heading to work, although I'd stay away from the scrambled eggs. The staff were all pleasant and cordial and check-in and check-out were very quick and easy. The bathroom was a little cramped but was still beautiful and the only complaint I had was that the Doubletree sign from the hotel next door glared through the sheers over the windows (you can't pull the heavy velvet drapes closed). I never heard noise from outside my room except a couple of doors slammed shut too hard by other guests. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for business or leisure travelers.

This hotel is nestled in a nice spot away from MAJOR traffic, which you want to avoid in Atlanta. It's not too far from the shopping centers & Perimeter Mall (a must see!!) Restaurants are a plenty and Wal-Mart was nearby. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I was surprised with the deluxe continental breakfast & the free data port usage (free network cable, too). The rooms were just o.k. - a suite, yes- a sofa and desk, but a good renovation could be done. However, for the price, location, and service at the Comfort Inn Suites - not a bad place to stay.

We got a "suite" here for $59 a night through quikbook.com. At that price, it was quite worthwhile. The hotel is clean and in good shape; it's about to undergo renovation.

Note however that a "suite" is simply a room with a sofa in addition to the beds; it's not divided up in any way.

There is no restaurant in this hotel, but there's a pretty good one in the Doubletree next door, and a small Chinese one that we didn't try in the shopping center on the other side.

This is probably the least expensive hotel in the neighborhood; the Doubletree next to it is much fancier, and there's a gigantic Crowne Plaza on the other side of Perimeter Mall.

The area lacks sidewalks. With difficulty, we walked to Chequers (a good seafood place 0.6 mile away), but I'd recommend taking the car or a taxi. Perimeter Mall is about 0.9 mile and not easily reachable on foot. Two MARTA stations (Dunwoody and Sandy Springs) are in the area, but both require traversing sidewalk-less territory with a serious lack of connecting streets.
