“Well Maintained Childhood Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

What an interesting part of history this National Park is. Start your tour by going to the visitor center and viewing the various exhibits--mainly related to civil rights. Then head to the Ebeneezer church. If you are lucky ask for the tour tickets for Dr., King's childhood home at the visitor's center. Parking was not a problem but you have to make sure your car is secure and your valuables are taken with you.

“Don't Miss This”

Make sure you arrive at the Visitor's Center early to get ticket for a tour of the house. The National Park Rangers are very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the tour.

“reflective”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

The whole experience left me so deeply moved and saddened. I don't know where to start. The eternal flame, the tombs of Dr and Mrs King, the chapel, the mural of his life, the centre itself.

Take your time to sit in the chapel and reflect, you don't need to be religious..and please do drop a coin into the collection box when you leave, so few appear to do so.
