“If you like beer, You'll love this place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

First of all, when you arrive, take time to study the food menu blackboard and the beer menu blackboard before you step up to the "order counter" With so many different local beer selections you want to take your time in scoping out what you'd like. If you can't decide or have quesitons they will give a a sample of several different ones before you buy. The fried chicken was excellent but felt like the chicken and veggie wasn't quite enough so we shared an order of fries which were excellent. Other reviewers have mentioned not kid friendly- we dined on a week night in November and there were several families with small kids there and it looked like places for them to play and amuse themselves.

“OK Food BUT TOO Noisey”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

4 of us went for early dinner mid-week. Not crowded and a little confusing on ordering and getting food. Food was OK - probably typical but pub food but no burgers. Fries are an "extra" - good but pricey. Great variety of on tap beer and wine - expensive. But the overall problem is the place is just to loud. All wood floors and wall make sounds magnified and just too loud to be enjoyable. Overall, not worth the pricey time.

“Fun Craft Beer Bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

Stopped in for a few drinks on Saturday night (did not dine so cannot comment on the food). Fun, hip atmosphere but all range of age groups present. 18 beers on tap, continuously rotating with pleasant staff. Would def recommend and return for another visit!

“Worthy of High Praise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

This place is just what Woodstock needed. With everthing closing up it's nice to see entrepeneurs take a shot and hit a bullseye! Who cares if you have to go pick up your food yourself. You'll probably get into an interesting conversation while you're doing it. Seats at the bar are a must for my wife and I. It's the adult way to dine here. Love this place!

“Worthy place indeed, must-go in Vermont”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

Loved that place: great chillaxed semi-selfservice concept, daily menu written on a board, friendly service, great selection of beers, reasonable prices. The atmosphere is very relaxed and convivial.

The food might be seasonal and local, while at the same time creative: I had tortillas with pumkin, and then some surprisingly good eastern-European style pickles. The steak salad was delicious, so were the wood-smoked mac&cheese.

The portions sizes are... European, let's say (naturally, sustainable food is more expensive), but that's actually great because this way you can taste several dishes.

And btw, they played great rock music that evening.
