Stayed at The Woodstock Inn and they had 9 hole deal with cart, range balls and rental clubs for ok price. Course was empty on Monday morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The course doesn't look like much from the road. It runs along a valley and no elevation changes. The holes are short compared to today's courses. But, once you get out there you realize the holes are nice to the eye, require some thought and is a good test of shot making. Condition was excellent and greens in fantastic shape.
Best part was while I was fixing a ball mark. A passing greens keeper waved and shouted "thanks"!
