It was a blast and as a girl who grew up in Wisconsin, I have to admit that they had some pretty good cheddar cheese. It was great to have some one explain the differences between the different grades of maple syrup and what determines the different grades. However, it was the cheese that would bring me back again. They had 14 different cheeses to try including an 8 year old cheddar. It was amazing. Their 72 month old cheddar was a close second being so creamy. They also had sage, jalapeño, blue, horseradish, and so much more. Once you thought you were done, you go into another room with about as many other jams and mustards to try.
We went and saw the sugar house, but it wasn't all too exciting. It's too bad that we've had such bad weather because they have a nature trail which looked like it would be a fun walk, but that day was way too slippery. I may have to go back and try it out some time... and pick up some more cheese.
