Have stayed at Gran Hotel with the guys on Golf Trips ..( perfect ) ......with my family and their partners (no complaints ) and as a couple having some relaxing sunshine for a few days , there are two pools with ample loungers set amongst well kept gardens ...our preference are the rooms that overlook the courtyard.....but for anyone travelling with a younger family the bungalows next to the top pool would be ideal ....the town of Benahavis is a stroll away where you will be spoilt for choice where to eat ...Maria , Anna and Jorge staff at the hotel always have a welcoming smile waiting for you ...well worth a visit if your heading for the Estepona Area.....

Took a punt on this hotel as we had never been to the area before but we were more than delighted with what we found. The hotel is beautifully designed in a sort of moorish style, is scrupulously clean, located in a lovely area, has a totally relaxing atmosphere and was not expensive at all for a 4 star hotel. The food was great (we ate from the a la carte menu) and the facilities (pool etc) first class. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable. We were only there for one night but will definitely return.

Room Tip: As far as I could see all the rooms were lovely. We had a standard room and it was huge!

Super relax hotel, this is what i needed. After traveling from Lissabon, Tarifa, i could need some relaxing. Great Spanish hotel located in a filmisch decor, it looks like your in the middele of some oase of green an hill, what a nice village!

Room was so large that we laughed so hard :-) it was also very cleadn. Staff was so nice to us. Price is excelent. But i think the bar prices at the pool are little overpriced. 6 to 8 euro for one glas of wine ( in a plastic glass ) that's is over the top but hell, your're on vaction and you just have to pay it.

breakfast was very very well ! lots to choose from. We've only stayed here for one night... i could defenetly stay here 3 nights !

i Defenetly want to go back !

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a special anniversary. The hotel was excellent with large, clean rooms. We stayed in room 408 with direct access to the pool which was perfect. We were not put off by the negative reviews-we actually preferred this hotel to a 5* we stayed in in Estepona in April. The lunch & drink menu was reasonably priced which is not the case for most hotels we have stayed in. The reception & rest of the staff were very friendly & helpful at all times.

We love Benahavis so much that we have bought a property there but will still go to visit this hotel at times for lunch.

Lovely hotel with 2 fantastic pools. Set in fantastic countryside with great views. We arrived early and our suite was ready for us. The suite was large with a massive sitting room, bedroom and bathroom with shower and bath. We had meals at the bar and the restaurant enjoyed all of the food. It was a good standard. The breakfast is buffet style with a good choice. We also had 1 hour per day use of the spa, which was very nice. The staff are friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed at this hotel before and will be again. It was a lovely relaxing break

We had our wedding here in September. Prices were very reasonable! Location is the most impressive thing about this 4* hotel...stunning views of mountains. I stayed here the night before wedding with my bridesmaid's and again the night of wedding in the honeymoon suite with my new husband :) honeymoon suite was lovely, great views of swimming pools and mountian surroundings from our balcony. The spa was very limited. The ONLY thing that wasn't great was the experience of staff day after wedding because someone tallied up a drinks bill and didnt own up so we ended up having to pay it. Bug all in all a lovely experience :) they even gave us a free nights stay for our 1yr anniversary which im sure we will take up :)

Lovely hotel well worth a trip.
Location and views were stunning. We arrived late after 1am welcomed by a very friendly gentleman who was happy to have chat, made some jokes really welcoming.
Very impressive when you walk in. The room was massive, very clean; cool we could want no more.
Breakfast was lovely. Pools beautiful, grounds stunning.
Only problem we had is we was only there for 24 hours not long enough.
