We ate here 3 times, while spending time off the trail. The Still Life was recommended by the owner of the motel we were staying at-who did add, you may have to wait, even if you are the only ones there. Meals all three times were excellent. Beef bourgeon was superb. There is a good and varied selection of foods. Decor is nice. Jazz music was great ( I almost always ask wait staff to turn off music in restaurants as it is too loud and harsh.) We did have to wait . and yes , one night we were the only ones there. However, where was there to go? It made us slow down and enjoy where we were. Definitely worth stopping at on way through town , or driving up from Lone Pine .
