Area hotels are very high cost in this area and found this one for only $89 prepaid. Desk staff was good and outside is nice but once inside the room I found that while it was VERY clear in was a very basic room with old out of date wall paper, furniture, and a stand up dresser instead of a closet. Most telling though was the bathroom. It looks like the original cabinets were ripped out and a homemade one built in place. No doors, no sides, and the pipes exposed. Looks like something you would see at a cheap beach rental (see photo). All being said though – if you need to save money, especially if you are visiting the D.C. area for a vacation, it’s worth checking the pricing as compared to other hotels in the area. While old it was VERY clean and has a full size covered pool, work out area, bar, restaurant, easy off and on to the interstate and lots of local restaurants and shopping for your needs and is in a safe area.

I ended up staying here for 7 weeks for work. The staff really made me feel welcome. Especially Luther and Talia (I think that's her name. Worked the desk and bar in the evenings). They were really awesome. I never got a "standard" greeting from them. After my second week they went out of their way to give me a more personal greeting, even if i was just walking through. They also uprgraded me when my company booked a smaller room one of the weeks, which was a welcome surprise. It may have been the Sheraton in Manassas, but they made me feel like I was staying at the Ritz in NYC. So let me get down to it.

Pros: Great location. Right off the highway. Lots of near by restaurants. Delicious free breakfast. Free cookies in the afternoon. Wednesday nights they had a free happy hour buffet and $1 local beers. Gym was small, but I never saw anyone else use it when I was there. EXCEPTIONAL STAFF!

Cons: Beds weren't that comfortable. I can sleep anywhere but found it difficult. I was even in the nicer suites with the better beds. And the outlets aren't close to the nightstands. I actually bought a cheap dollar store extenstion cord so my iphone could reach the nightstand easily enough that I could check my phone with out unplugging it.

Needless to say, I was about 99.9% happy with my stay. If I'm ever back in manassas for work, this is where I will be staying! Thanks for a great 7 weeks!

I have stayed here a few times and I have booked this hotel for family when they are in town. I enjoy the clean rooms and friendly staff. The bathroom is a bit odd with its basket of towels and free standing sink. The bed is very comfy and the pillows are soft. The pool is cool er than I would like. It is in a glass building and in the winter it is almost unusable. The work out room is small but works well. The resturant is just ok. I dont eat there when I stay. I go across the street to Uno's.

Stayed just one night but everything was great. Front desk service was excellent. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. We stayed on the fifth floor. Did not use the pool or exercise equipment. We would definitely stay here again.
