I had booked a 2 bedroom suite for a quick overnight. Received a call from Dell Epps a couple of days before check-in to see if we would mind giving up our suite, seems the family that was in it wanted to extend their stay.....he offered us 2 separate rooms. We were traveling with another couple and although we looked forward to being together, it seemed more important for a family to be together, so we took him up on his offer. He honored our rate and gave us a courtesy discount on the 2 rooms.
Our room held all the amenities a Residence Inn can offer, full kitchen, living room with a pull out sofa, full bath, ample storage in the bedroom area, 2 tv's. Breakfast was a welcomed treat! Even though we lingered past breakfast hours, we were never made to feel rushed and took that time to enjoy our surroundings. Breakfast was great!!! Muffins, waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt parfaits, breads, fruit....the area was always looked after and well kept.
Our suite, along with all the public areas of the hotel were clean and well cared for. Parking lot and grounds were well maintained. A quick dip in the indoor pool was a great way to end our all too short stay.
At check out, I think it was Maria V who came out to personally thank me for giving up our suite, a kind gesture that means a lot. In essence, we were only at the hotel for 12 hours, but we will be back!! Thank you to all the staff who works hard to keep their guests happy.
