Thanks to TripAdvisor, we found this #1 rated restaurant when we were in Manassas for a family event. Fabulous traditional Greek food in a cozy atmosphere with friendly, small town customer service. Arriving at 2:30pm, this was our first meal of the day and we were really hungry. We had a cross between lunch and dinner. We ordered the saganaki, which is flambéed kaseri cheese as an appetizer. We extinguished the flame with freshly squeezed lemon juice and ate the cheese atop PERFECT hot pita triangles. We shared the combination appetizer consisting of tzatziki, meliganosalta (baba ganoush), taramasalata (red caviar w/ olive oil) - again with the most delicious hot grilled pita. Husband had the lentil soup. I had the Taste of Greece combination of mousaka, pastitsio & spanakopita. It was a lot of food so I happily had some pastitsio to take home. Everything we ordered was delicious and we look forward to returning when in the area again, but the item that will have us fastback another "swing-by" was the Galaktoboureko - creamy baked custard and filo dough drenched in lemon & orange infused syrup. (Baked to order, allow 10 minutes) - OMG. Worth a visit just for this. Trust me.
