After hearing so much about the Battle of Bull Run, it was great to finally be able to visit the site. We arrived on a very cold day in February, so we only spent a small amount of time outdoors. However, even our short walk around the battlefield and seeing the statue of "Stonewall" Jackson was memorable. There is a minimal fee of $3.00 which is good for 3 days. Children under 16 are free. We saw the 45-min. film, "Manassas: End of Innocence" in the Henry Hill Visitors Center and walked through the small museum which gave a good orientation to what had taken place during the battles. Hikes and driving tours along with other activities are available if you have better weather. The park's website will give you lots of information. http://www.nps.gov/mana/index.htm
