Reserved two rooms for a week on business, was able to get a “deal” for staying at least three nights. When I tried to reserve two rooms again for the next week, they would no longer honor the “deal” price, and wanted to up the room rate by a substantial amount. The front desk did not seem to care that we had just stayed a whole week at the "deal" price, and would not budge. I didn't want to have to shop around, but there a quite a few hotels at this exit, and since Holiday Inn Express apparently didn’t want our business for a second week, we went elsewhere and got a better rate. I really don’t understand this approach, they could have had our money for another 4-5 days, and instead they got nothing. I’m leaving two stars instead of one because the first weeks stay in the area at this hotel was fine for the rate, but I see no reason to pay more for the experience.

Dear ridethere1,
Thank you for taking the time to write your review following your recent stay. We strive to accommodate all of our guests and their needs and I’m disappointed that we did not meet your expectations with regards to rates. Prices do vary from time to time depending on the market. It is certainly not our intent to inconvenience our valued customers, but to instead offer options that make sense. We do value the comments we receive from our guests as these help us improve the quality and service that we offer.
Thank you again for your feedback and for staying with us.
Sincerely,
