Reserved two rooms for a week on business, was able to get a “deal” for staying at least three nights. When I tried to reserve two rooms again for the next week, they would no longer honor the “deal” price, and wanted to up the room rate by a substantial amount. The front desk did not seem to care that we had just stayed a whole week at the "deal" price, and would not budge. I didn't want to have to shop around, but there a quite a few hotels at this exit, and since Holiday Inn Express apparently didn’t want our business for a second week, we went elsewhere and got a better rate. I really don’t understand this approach, they could have had our money for another 4-5 days, and instead they got nothing. I’m leaving two stars instead of one because the first weeks stay in the area at this hotel was fine for the rate, but I see no reason to pay more for the experience.

Very clean hotel. Service was amazing. Breakfast was tasty. My suite was made for a king. Big comfortable bed, nice sized jacuzzi, big bathroom, mini kitchen, two tv's, living room area. The hotel made me feel as if I paid 2 star money for a 5 star hotel. I would definitely recommend to others.

Clean, smoke free hotel located 1/2 mile from the Manassas Battlefield with easy access to Washington, D.C. Located 18 minutes from the Vienna Metro Station. Many restaurants located in close proximity (i.e., walking distance). Above average breakfast. Washing machines and dryers available for guest use. Business center and free in room WiFi. Friendly hotel staff and express checkout. Reasonably priced for the Metro Washington area.

I am a long time Holiday Inn customer. I have stayed at many properties and while this property has clean rooms, a decent breakfast and an indoor pool the customer service and the handling of issues onsite left more than a little to be desired. I stayed for 5 nights. Contacted maintenance about a faucet that the hot/cold was backwards on after I had scalded my hand, no one came to fix it or asked if I was ok. I asked for an incident report and was told “we don’t have those". I went to the front desk on a separate occasion and told them that safety latches on the bedroom window were missing (I was on the ground floor that backed up to a wooded area) and the response I got was “OH, you must be in room 115! We know, we let a prior guest remove those. There was a car accident in front of the hotel sometime Saturday night. I saw a wrecked car in the parking lot at 6:30 am while I was walking my dog. I was totally shocked to see a car that damaged in the parking lot and remember thinking How in the world did that drive that after wrecking. It turns out the wreck was into the front carport of the property. I know this because I saw all the broken glass and debri at 11:30 when I checked out. I know this because I had to walk my dog and my grandson around the front to avoid the glass as I watched cars drive thru it to be able to exit the parking lot. Now, on Sunday morning, as I’m about to leave the property I am told after 5 days that I was not suppose to have my dog on their property. The entire staff knew the dog was there and no one felt compelled to tell me this before now. I was told there was a fee if the room was left with a pet odor but that since no one told me this (there was no odor in the room) I would not be charged and now after the fact I have been charged $250.00. The GM made this decision when he was not there that morning to check the room or discuss this with me. I have tried multiple times to get in touch with the GM to no avail. I finally got them on the phone a week later. I can’t say that he was rude but he was far less than professional to speak with and once it was determined that himself and I would not see eye to eye on this he refused to give me any information to contact the owners or corporate. I can honestly say I will never stay at this or any other Holiday Inn property. I suggest you not stay at a property that puts a dollar value before guest safety and well being, and one that stonewalls you if you have a legitimate complaint or injury.
