Bennett House is a great place to stay. If you are fed up with impersonal hotels, this place is a gem. Jean and Curtis give great advice on eating and shopping. It is an easy walk into the centre of Masassas for restraurants etc (no need to drive). Breakfast is magnificant. I had a business meeting at the house and they supplied coffee etc on the porch - very relaxing and geared to what was most helpful to me. A visit to the Manassas battlefield is 15 mins away and worth a visit.
