Owner description: Cruise 1 - Comino/ Blue Lagoon: 20 euro This cruise is attractive for all you beach lovers and Island explorers. Stopping on the Island of Comino for over 4 hours one can explore the untouched beauty of Comino, with its breathtaking views and old history. You can walk up to the St. Maria tower built in 1618 A.D., the St. Maria Battery, or the old church built in 1716 A.D and enjoy the wonderful views of Malta and Gozo from the cliffs of Comino. As for the beach lovers you've seen the image of the stunning Blue Lagoon on enough postcards, its time to check out the real thing. An afternoon here provides ample time for swimming and snorkeling. Cruise 2 - Comino/ Blue Lagoon and Gozo 25 euro Do it all in one day. This trip includes a 3 hour stop in Gozo and 1 hour on Comino. During the 3 hour stop one can explore the Island of Gozo by using our organised minibus tours which will take you to see the Azure Window, Fungus Rock, the inland Sea, bypass Ta' Pinu church, Citadel (the old fortified city), Victoria (the capital city) and bypass Xewkija church.

“Deservedly No.1 Attraction in Bugibba - And One Of The Best For Malta In General”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

Even if you are not staying in Bugibba - my party were staying in St. Julians - it is worth taking the bus up and catching the Hornblower.

They offer two versions of their cruises: round St. Pauls Island and up to Comino for the Blue Lagoon (3 hour stay) or the same trip but only a 1-hour stay at the Blue Lagoon but with an extension over to Gozo and a minibus trip to the Azure Window, Tapinu Cathedral and Victoria. For the hard core sunbathers or snorkelers the former is probably best option but for anyone wanting a cost effective way to see a few of the sights on Gozo the latter is the one to go for - which is the one we chose. By the way, there is a third option to just cross to Gozo but not take the minibus - if you are happy to just stay in Mgarr or use Gozo's buses then fine but not recommended.

No point in reviewing the Blue Lagoon - the photographs say it all - just make sure that the best sunny day possible is chosen for the trip to get it in its full glory.

Food and drink are served on-board and good toilet facilities are provided. It's all done really well by the crew and as already pointed out by other reviewers not at the prices you can be asked in Sliema

“Lovely day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

This trip on the Hornblower cost 15 euro's each and was well worth the money. It was a whole day out on the Hornblower and a lovely afternoon was spent lazing around and sunbathing at the Blue Lagoon which is a must see if you go to Malta, absolutely beautiful. There are many other boats offering this trip (the Hornblower also takes you to Gozo for 20 euro's) but they charge upwards of 50 euros per person!! Kevin and his team are very professional and friendly and made the day's sailing a great experience, will be going back on this boat when we return to Malta.

“A really nice day trip.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

We decided as one of our day trips we would like to go on a cruise, after some research we decided to book the Hornblower cruise to Gozzo via Comino and the Blue Lagoon. This was a good choice, friendly captain and crew, freshley made sandwiches good choice of drinks at very reasonable prices. This trip was both relaxing and a real pleasure.
