“decent enough Indian food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2011

but the service left a lot to be desired - the only smile that crossed the server face was when we were paying and leaving!

“Not very inviting”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2011

We had dinner this evening at Anusuya. I had short-listed 2 Indian restaurants Ganesha in Xemxija and Anusuya in Buggiba. Since Anusuya was a short walk away, decided to go there instead of drive down to Ganesha. It was a bit of a disappointment. We waited 40 minutes for our dinner whereas the restarant was practically empty. There was a table of 2 before us. We had just ordered 3 dishes and not an elaborate menu. The lady and the young girl were gentle and nice. But the food was not very good. Nan were undone from inside. The korma had no taste of a korma, Panneer had a funny taste to it.

“Terrible”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2011 via mobile

Slow service is an understatement. Food tasted as if it had come out of a cheap can. Terrible & disappointing

“The best Indian food in Malta”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2011

My husband and I have been regularly to this restaurant for the last 14 years. We were teenagers the first time we have been there. We have been there at least once a month since then. The restaurant is family run, the chefs are Indian and the owner too. They are really nice and the taste of their food is unbeatable. Sometimes service on Saturday evenings might be slow but visit on weekdays and you will not be disappointed!

“Little gem great food as a very reasonable price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2011

I was a bit apprehensive as the outside of the restaurant looks a little dates but looks can be decieving.

The selection of food was very good and the service was also very prompt.
The startes were lovely and I think the chef put his own little tweak to the dishes and it sure does work a treat.

I left the restaurant just wishing they would make it more inviting by doing some work on it and modernising it as the decor is a bit dated but the food more than makes up for that shortfall.
