“How to ruin a pizza!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

I ordered a simple buffalo mozzarella pizza. It was bland and tasteless.

Tip to chef: Bake the pizza with the tomato topping, then remove from oven, dress with torn chunks of buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil leaves and serve. Do NOT cook the mozzarella and basil leaves (they go black and look terrible).

“Good Food but Poor Ambience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

This is a large restaurant in one of Malta's primary tourist areas that attract medium to low earners. The restaurant features bright, perhaps garish, outside signage, brightly coloured plastic tables and chairs. Very little ambience as such, it feels more like a staff canteen. The hand-dryer in the toilets was out of order which is a real inconvenience. Too many restaurants in Malta ignore hygiene in their toilets and it is a real irritant. The restaurant has terraces on the water-front but having visited for dinner when darkness had already fallen, there was little to see across the bay. The ambience perhaps suits lunch better. The menu was extensive ranging from inexpensive pasta dishes and pizzas to averagely priced fillet steaks. Most of us enjoyed the meal. Mine was cooked to perfection though I would have appreciated a more generous portion.

“Quick, friendly service - food excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

I had the pork with mushroom and brandy sauce and it was delicious. Service was very friendly and efficient. Banoffee dessert was delicious also.

I'd definitely recommend.

“Great for sharing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

This place was booked by friends for an informal get-together. Good job we booked because the place was full. However, the service was slick, friendly and orders were accurately taken. What was really impressive was that, even with 14/15 of us eating, all the food came at the same time and it was piping hot. All of the pizzas were pronounced to be delicious and three of us particularly enjoyed the 'Spicy Fun'. Those with smaller appetites were provided with takeaway boxes: very much the norm here in Malta. Drinks were sensibly priced and the wine was at the appropriate temperature. Some of the ladies are still talking about the unctuous hot chocolate - worth a trip in itself. We will certainly return and can recommend it highly. If you go, do book on 21584647

“Everything Perfect!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

A really good place where all type of plates from Pizza to grill where great. You get both quality and quantity at a very good price!

I recommend the Ceasar Pizza (it's a Ceasar Salad in a Pizza)
