just arrived back from the seashells sunrest in Qawra. We booked through thomas cook.Be warned you can't get your room until 3pm.Your travel agent doesn't tell this.my mom who had travelled with had to get changed in the luggage room when we arrived. The reception staff didn't offer us a room for us to get changed in when we arrived around 11am in the morning. The staff in the dining room are too quick to take you plates away from your table. My mom had her plate taken away and she hadn't even finished her dinner.Turn your back really and your plate is gone. Also, the dining staff need to smile alot more, especially the young girls, the men are ok and friendly. The cleaners who clean your rooms are brilliant. There are no tea/coffee making facilties in the rooms, you have to hire them at a daily rate.I think was around 1.80 euros per day.

We would like to thank you for your positive comments especially concerning the hotel cleaners, as well as the male dining staff. Your comments have already been forwarded to the relevant departments.

Referring to the time you could go in your room on day of arrival, we would like to underline that if there was a room available, we would of course have quite happily given you the key. It is not in our interest to keep guests from going to their room. 15.00hrs is the official check in time - as is the norm in various hotels world wide including your country. It so happens that you arrived on a particularly busy day. For the benefit of anybody readying your review and our reply we would like to underline that guests could always check in before the official check in time if the room is vacant (check out time is 11.00hrs) and cleaned up to our standards.
It is not the custom in Malta for 4 star hotels to have tea/coffee making facilities as a standard amenity in rooms.

We can see in your scoring that you gave best points to cleanliness, as well as location and hope that you and your esteemed mother had the opportunity to visit some of the very interesting places of interest on Malta. The promenade from our hotel leading to St. Paul’s islands offers also the opportunity of a pleasant walk/stroll.

We thank you for your contribution review and for recommending our hotel further.

It is with pleasure we hear that our guests are indeed noticing all the efforts in training and works done during the closure winter months.

As for your comment about the missing bill, will you kindly furnish us with some more information. We have tried to find duplicate invoicing but could not.

This Hotel has probably the best team of staff in the whole of malta, they will bend over backwards to make sure that you enjoy your stay and have a good time. We went on my 30 birthday, made friends with both the staff and the guests. The service was excellent, the food was great and the local beer Cisk was the best. I would like to thank all the staff for making our stay peaceful and happy, and would like to say a special tjanks to Mario, Joseph, Anthony and Catherine, the bar and restaraunt team for their spirited service.

The Suncrest also benefits from spectacular views which are right infront of the ocean. Restaurant and Bar are very clean and tidy. Management are good but I would urge them not to take the local beer Cisk out of the All inclusive package. One warning make sure their is no international law students convention, they can be a noisy bunch

We thank you for your very constructive review of our hotel. The staff in general, particularly the ones mentioned have been informed as well and needless to say are all delighted.

With the competition in Malta being so large, the only way to make a difference is to have and train staff who find pleasure in giving good service and good old service with a smile. We are so happy you have noticed!

Have just returned after a week at the Suncrest hotel. The hotel had just reopened after 3 months and having read so many negative reports the seeds of doubt whether we had done the right thing had been sown. How wrong we were proven to be.The hotel was spotless,as was our room. The food was second to none and not repetertive, although there was one night when it wasnt up to the standard of previous days apart from that night fantastic.joseph the barman and Catherine the waitress were a credit to the hotel as were all the staff.I would recommend this hotel and would definetly stay there again .If the standards set by the hotel during our weeks stay continue then this hotel will be the top place to stay in qawra. Thanks for a great time Carl and Gail room 539

last summer i stayed at the seashells resort with my husband and children. The experience was great and definitely it will not be the last time we visit this excellent resort. Location was perfect and buses were just round the corner. The staff helped us to whatever we needed. Our seasview suite was sapcious and comfortable. We will make sure this will be the only hotel we visit on our trips to malta. A+++++++++ THANKS

We travelled to Malta with our two young kids and I am glad to have choosen this hotel. The hotel fits our requirements very well. Rooms are spacious and clean, the hotel is safe and family friendly. Staff are welcoming and well mannered and they went out of their way to help us with anything. The highlight is without a doubt the pool area which is located directly by the sea. The views are awesome. It was a real attraction for the kids because there is a chute which will surely keep them occupied when we go back in summer. The area around the hotel is really great to. Although it was really good weather we didnt swim because it was a little chilly, however we certainly made use of the lovely promenade by the sea. The kids loved it.

Your feedback during your stay in Malta and in our property is very much appreciated.

We hope that in spite of the hot weather you managed to visit a few of the many places of interest on Malta, none of which are far away from our hotel.
