“Lovely Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

I have lived in Malta for 11 months and I really love to visit this restaurant. You are made to feel so welcome by all the staff and it is so bright and modern. The food is of the highest standard and i would not hesitate to say it is the best Chinese Restaurant on the island of Malta. It offers great value for money with great prices and large portions.

“Nice staff, good food, good value for money, very noisy restaurant!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012 via mobile

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. It was quite full. The staff is very nice. The food is very good too. We had a set menu which was plentiful for just €23! The only problem we had is that the place is very very noisy! Otherwise all was OK.

“challenge: can you save room for dessert?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

Having lived in Malta for some 20 odd years I hadn't fully enjoyed a chinese meal until I came across this place. After PEKING was opened and seeing how busy it would get I decided to try it out. As you walk in the staff instantly make you feel welcome, and lead you past a giant fish tank across a bridge to a table. Its very modern, unlike other chinese restaurants in the area, and clean. Looking through the menu, it is all very reasonably priced and after ordering we are presented with a plate of prawn crackers to share. We found starters and main course too much to finish off everything, and were given the option of having it put into take away boxes. While having coffee however a table next to us were enjoying what I found out to be fried ice-cream and we opted to share one between the two of us. Its to die for!!!

I think they'll be seeing alot more of me :)
And I'll try and save room for my own dessert next time!

“Simply perfect.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

Me and my partner have been trying out Various Chinese restaurant's around the island. While we where out for our sunday walk at tourist street the spectacular outdoor sign was so eye catching that we had to stop to check out this restaurant.

We where greeted by a very friendly Woman who happened to be the restaurant manager , words could not explain how beautiful and well oriented was the restaurant design , Fish tanks ,fountains and a see trough bridge. They gave us the best seat in the house the restaurant was fully air-conditioned and the music played a big part to blend in with the environment.

The menu was vast and the prices where standard but we didn't really mind since we where being served as professional as possible . It did not take long to order as the staff was very helpful and advised us according to our tastes.

For the first course we took the Wonton soup and the Hot and sour soup , They where perfectly cooked full of flavor and very mouth watering , it was quite a nice combination with the local house red wine witch was very pleasant for a house wine.

We took a small pause between our next dish and the food came to the table well cooked and the Aroma could be scented from everywhere.

My partner had the sizzling squid along with special fried rice and pancakes . Squid is not something we love to eat because in other restaurants we did not have such great experiences with see food , But the peking squid was cooked accordingly and very tasty .

The dishes are well sized aswell. For desert we had fried ice cream and something iv'e never came around Fried-cookies witch i must say they where shockingly Amazing. The very kind manager also gave us a free liquor in the end.

What was supposed to be a sunday walk ended up to be one hell of an amazing Dine.
