This family-run business is just what we needed after a long day of visiting some of the major Malta attractions. Based in the St Paul area, the restaurant offers home-cooked traditional Maltese dishes and some English options. My daughter had the swordfish and was given two large steaks cooked in a tomato broth with various herbs and capers, she loved her meal. My husband and I had roasted chicken and the portion was generous (half chicken each). The chef came to our table to explain how he prepared the various food items and proceeded to entertain us with his knowledge of the Island's history, politics, economic facts and other wonderful & useful information. Our meals were accompanied by Maltese wine and we ended our night with various liqueurs. The decor is very basic, unpretentious but extremely cozy and clean.
