“nice country kitchen”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We were a group of 10 and going to a VCU soccer game at nearby Sportsbackers stadium. The restaurant was close by the food was quick and good. The portions are huge, order one and split. nothing fancy but good food and good service.

“Did not meet expectations”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013 via mobile

This place is very popular & always crowded. Have eaten there 3 times in the past 2 years & each time was disappointed with my meal. The lamb on my spinach salad was rare cold thin pressed meat & the chicken quesadilla they brought me instead was packed with chunks of dsrk meat in a red tortilla...seems like most menus would indicate if a non-traditional tortilla was served. The atmosphere is casual & loud. Booths are hard wood! Best part of the experience was the strong showing of VCU fans! Serious foodies may be disappointed with the meal but the homemade ice cream across the parking lot at Sweet 95 is delicious!

“Nice lunch menu with neat decor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

Had lunch with two others. Working business lunch. Easy enough to talk and eat. Nice natural light and plenty of menu choices. Sweet tea was good too. Service was fine.

Not a fan of the cole slaw but the sweet potato fries were excellent.

All in all a nice place that I will visit again.

“Great find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013 via mobile

My family got hungry while driving through Richmond on our way to DC and stumbled upon Kitchen 64. It was exactly what we were looking for. A casual, family friendly lunch spot with well-thought out and interesting menu. The kids loved the sliders with fries and I thoroughly enjoyed the eggs Benny with salmon and fried green tomatoes. The shrimp and grits was heavenly as well. And the array of enormous desserts made our mouths water. We almost couldn't decide but finally chose the chocolate layer cake with creamy white icing. The forks were flying as we all shared and raced to the last bite!

Our favorite place for Sunday brunch...best eggs benedict in the city. Staff is always courteous and capable.
