Great trip, Grace Manor is an excellent bed and breakfast you will not be disappointed. Host and food were great. House is beautiful and well kept. House is close to many local attractions. Be sure to visit the Byrd theater and Cary Town. Many places to dine on Broad Street.

This was our second visit to Grace Manor Inn, planned as a two-day break from the frenzy of holiday planning. The innkeepers were just as friendly and helpful as they were last year, the breakfasts were just as gourmet, the room was just as spectacularly beautiful, everything was wonderful - again. My husband says it feels like living upstairs in Downton Abbey. The Inn is also located very conveniently to many of Richmond's great visitor attractions, particularly the Fine Arts Museum and the Virginia Repertory Theatre. And they have dogs (three Yorkies), which is especially nice if you're dog people. If you want a lovely vacation, in an elegant, friendly place with superb breakfasts, this is where you want to be!

Room Tip: The Fensterer-Davis suite is our choice, but the Carriage House is also very nice.

We've been to Richmond several times, and Grace Manor has provided by far the best experience. Not only were the rooms beautiful and the breakfast delicious, but Albert provided great travel tips for Richmond attractions, dining, and even cooking! His hospitality was excellent and he made sure that from before the trip -- he called several times to ensure he'd be there when we arrived -- we felt welcomed and taken care of.

My daughter and I met in Richmond for a girls weekend. We had a lovely time at the Inn..The room was huge and so comfortable. It was so nice to relax together.
Breakfast was so yummy, especially the bacon! We loved sitting and talking with all the other guests. Great central location. Can't wait till our spring girls weekend.

I live in Richmond , but wanted a "staycation" in town. It was my birthday and of my girlfriends stayed with me . it was fabulous. The breakfast were a culinary delight !! I love the special touch of serving bellinis and mimosas. Albert and Dawn were gracious hosts. . I loved their 2 little yorkies , espcially the 2 1/2 pound little girl . It rained whole time, but we didn't care . we stayed at the Carriage House suite which i highly recommend !! . i spent a whole day sitting in the asian parlor and the front parlor reading books . What a way to spend a cold rainly November day

Although we live in Richmond, Virginia, we wanted to try a bed and breakfast closer to downtown that we could recommend. We found it! Grace Manor Inn is beautifully decorated in period pieces and style. It was luxurious and elegant, but comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and ample enough to serve as brunch. The pool outside was so inviting that we actually sat out there one afternoon (in November). The inn is close enough to the important sights, but very quiet at night. We never heard the 2 Yorkies, but they were very friendly and stayed with the innkeeper, Albert, who was very gracious and always made sure everything was to our liking.

Room Tip: We looked at all the rooms in the house and they were all decent sizes. We stayed in the Fensterer...

What a place!!! It was truly everything and more than we expected. I have stayed at several B&B's and Grace Manor Inn is by far the best ever! The room we stayed in (Zimmerman Suite) was so lovely, the bed so comfortable. The restroom was immaculate, as well. An overall feeling of warmth. The breakfast, well unbelievable! We never tasted better in our lives and the innkeeper, Albert was the best! Just so many touches, that he provided made us never want to leave. And the cupcakes, provided by his wife, Dawn were the best I have ever had! Richmond, VA is a beautiful place and was made even more spectacular, thanks to The Grace Manor Inn, and oh yes, the sweet little yorkies, Bear and Peanut, were just adorable! Can't wait to go back!!!
