“Suckered”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

I was having an office party there a few years back and everyone wanted to try a bottle of 150 year old scotch. It cost $2200, or about $150 per glass. Being a little drunk, I okayed the order. I figured it would taste amazing. Not so. In fact it didn't even taste like scotch. After paying the bill, they gave me the bottle in beautiful case. When I got back to the office the following Monday, I had a chance to really look at the bottle and the card it came with. It turns out it was not scotch afterall, but brandy. And it was not 150 years old. The bottle was a replica of a 150 year old bottle, not 150 years old itself. And the brandy could have been made last year. In other words, I was ripped off for big money. That bartender is still probably laughing.

Perfect for a special occasion. Pricey, but worth it.

“Pricey but Terrific”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

Good for a special occasion--it is expensive, but delicious. We all had steak--my daughter and I split the porterhouse for two, and I think it would've fed four! Everyone's steak was perfectly prepared. My Mom ordered the shrimp, and she said they were very good. No sides are included--everything is a la carte--but the creamed spinach was wonderful, as was the baked potato. Good drinks and wine, knowledgeable server. Shared the osso buco ravioli appetizer, and that was terrific as well.

“Go elsewhere for much better food and services”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

The steaks were overcooked - the sides were overcooked - the hollandaise was a congealed glob - the manager was surly - the bus boy was angry and the waitress was nice - although she seemed to think she was having dinner with us rather than serving us....not my favorite experience. I have been to this restaurant many times before but not in the last year or two. Now I remember why we have moved on to better restaurants. Save your money for a great experience elsewhere.
