I was having an office party there a few years back and everyone wanted to try a bottle of 150 year old scotch. It cost $2200, or about $150 per glass. Being a little drunk, I okayed the order. I figured it would taste amazing. Not so. In fact it didn't even taste like scotch. After paying the bill, they gave me the bottle in beautiful case. When I got back to the office the following Monday, I had a chance to really look at the bottle and the card it came with. It turns out it was not scotch afterall, but brandy. And it was not 150 years old. The bottle was a replica of a 150 year old bottle, not 150 years old itself. And the brandy could have been made last year. In other words, I was ripped off for big money. That bartender is still probably laughing.
