“Don't bother”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2012

Broken exhibits, tons of "dead space" in the building. Not at all what it was like in the 80's and 90's. They've really gone off the rails and in a horrible way.

“Great for kids!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2012

Growing up in Richmond, you are brought here by parents and schools at least once a year. This place can keep kids (and even adults) busy for most of a day. This museum gives you the ability to have hands on science experiments and is very entertaining. You have some fun while learning!

“Very well done. A wonderful place to visit with children!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2012

I actually spent an overnight "shut-in" at this museum, during a special program w/ a group of elementary school children as a chaperone. I think I enjoyed myself every bit as much as the kids did, and they LOVED it!

“Amaturish”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2012

I was disappointed. Many of the exhibits looked like they had been put together as school science projects and were geared to the under 10 crowd. The acoustics were bad and our group left with one massive headache from the noise. I've been to many other science museums and this ranks on the bottom of the list. The only exhibits we enjoyed were the minerals on the upper floor..
