Had a great experience at 10:30 p.m. on Fri night, Apr 26. Was so glad they were open till 11. Had just gotten into town, got set up for the Richmond BMX race, and then wanted to eat. Dinner was great, service was great with Erica.
Saturday night wasn't quite so good. And was actually the 2nd restaurant to try that night. Had already wasted an hour at Olive Garden waiting to be served dinner. Finally was so mad and frustrated at the long wait for dinner at our table, and having talked to the Olive Garden Manager, just left. And came to Red Lobster. Had to wait 15 minutes here too for a table. And then was given a crummy table in the bar area.
Waitress came to get the drink order. Told her 2 waters. Then waited, and waited. Another woman brought silverware, but then was confused as she had thought she was told 4 silverware, but just the 2 of us. We didn't need silverware really as we had yet to order food, but we did need drinks. She was talking in a headset apparently, and ignoring us. The main waitress came by again, and told the woman, no I said 2 silverware on table 4. Meanwhile, still waiting for 2 waters. And sitting in the bar area, you wouldn't think this would take too long. The final straw was when our waitress then went to a new table where the people had just sat down and started waiting on them, while we were still waiting for waters. Decided the service was just too poor, like at Olive Garden, where we had been waiting on waters too and were thirsty, so left Red Lobster too. It shouldn't take 10 minutes to get water.
Went to Longhorn Steak for the 3rd try of the night, which was great all around.
