New Hampton Inn spotless ,safe modern rooms, great linens. They do however need 2 waffle Irons to speed up otherwise good breakfast choices.. Great value for the money watch for specials.Friendly front desk but very slow to answer if making reservations by phone., use internet its much faster. We've stayed here for multiple nights on two separate occassions and will stay again.

The hotel is in a nice location near alot of resturants and businesses. The hotel is more focused on business travelers than families. The rooms are clean and new looking. The decor is modern but tasteful. The room lay out is a little different where my King size bed faces the window versus the wall which is nice. The room only has a shower which is fine for me but if you wanted a hot bath you would be out of luck.

The hotel provides a complementary breckfast but I haven't been able to enjoy it because of my work schedule being so early. I wish the hotel had room service, menus for local delivery places or a small food pantry in the lobby. I may be spoiled used to staying at Hilton Garden Inns. The other thing I wish I had in my room was a fridge and or microwave but I made due with a window sill.

The staff have been very friendly and helpful. I would return in business brough me back here.

This newly renovated hotel has spacious, super clean rooms and an excellent complmentary breakfast. I would definitely stay at this chain again based on this experience. Convenient location right off I64.

This hotel was great! The location itself is awesome. If you look out of the hotel windows it looks as if you are not even in Richmond. Its sooo surreal! And the rooms are all ridiculously clean, calm and peaceful!! and the staff...all of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and customer service minded. I know it sounds cliche but its the absolute truth! Smiles all the time and cheerful attitudes are consistent. I have never wanted for anything. Swimming pools, to work out rooms, to a set aside quaint business office, to a laundry facility! My finance and I have been to many hotels in Richmond and this is by far the best. If anyone EVER comes to Richmond, VA goto this hotel first! BTW we don't go to other hotels anymore...

This was a really nice Hampton Inn, although we were only there to sleep and eat breakfast in the morning. But we were impressed with the front desk clerk who checked us in -- I think his name was Anton. He acted like we were the only people in the world who mattered to him at that moment -- now THAT'S service.

We had a room with two queen beds, which pretty well filled the room, along with a work desk. Didn't seem like there was a lot of extra room to move around. But the rooms were very clean and comfortable and I have no complaints.

The breakfast area is BEAUTIFUL -- very sunny and spacious and just a happy place to start your day. The breakfast was good -- plenty of hot & cold options as well as several waffle makers. The breakfast hostess kept things filled up and although there were a lot of people eating at once, it wasn't a problem.

I would definitely choose this hotel next time we are in Richmond.

started looking late for hotels and everything booked close to downtown area for start and finish. closest hotels were 5-10 miles out. needed to book 2 rooms and lucked out in getting great rate for king suite from AAA and 2 queen room just 1 week before race. must have been some last minute cancellations since this hotel didn't have any available rooms weeks before.

hotel is newer property off I-64/I-195. really convenient to exit and easy to find. tucked in from main street with nice seafood restaurant in front. looking for carbo load, huge olive garden just down street. not my favorite place, but packed on friday night. good service and food for evening meal.

front desk person was very friendly and manager was right there to lend hand with any questions. gave directions to local restaurants, travel to downtown and any other info about area. hotel was fully booked for marathoner's, gymnastic event, concert, urichmond football - place is popular and busy.

king suite was huge - had sofabed, big flat screen, great comfy bed and spacious bathroom area. definitely could fit family of 4 easily along with rollaway bed. suite was end room of hallway on floor. room frig, closet and counter in short hallway to room. nice layout and can really stretch out. only hitch was my great rate was for smoking room. asked manager if non-smoking was available upon checkin, but being totally booked, nada. he offered to put air purifier machine in the room if it was bad and we needed it. at first wasn't bad and was staying one night. but second thought, probably won't book smoking room again, no matter what the deal. room layout was great - clean, spacious - just need non-smoking.

breakfast was good and extra bananas for running crowd. most people had early wake-up calls and left hotel by 6:30-45am to get to starting line on-time. drive to downtown was extremely easy - took only 8-10 minutes by highway.

definitely recommend this hotel - new, rooms are very clean/spacious, nice breakfast and friendly front desk.

The hotel and its amenities were superior, and the rates are very reasonable. A special note of thanks to Antuan who checked us in and, when I asked him for restaurant recommendations for dinner, suggestive a few restaurants on Cary St, along with describing the area. We followed his perfect directions and had a lovely afternoon and evening exploring the lively neighborhood of Carytown. We dined at Antuan's first suggestion, Can Can, and it was great. Our room was beautiful and sparkling clean. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.
