It is very nice. Rooms clean, free coffee/tea from Starbucks in lobby in the am. Exercise room nice. It's set back off Broad Street but is in a bit of a sketchy area as evidenced by the fact that you need to enter room card to get on elevator.

The Westin is a clean hotel with a calming feel, but it's not worth the money. You have to pay $10/day for wireless access. They don't list the prices of their spa services, and the pool is very small, you are not really able to swim laps. For a business hotel, I'd hope they'd offer free breakfast each moring, but they don't.
Also, realize this is 15min drive from downtown.

It was my first time at this hotel. I stayed for 4 nights on a business trip and other than a couple of misses with housekeeping (room wasn't cleaned completely each day but was not bad), my stay was great. The Heavenly bed is really comfortable! I didn't try the restaurant but the in-room Starbucks coffee was pretty good. I was there during inclement winter weather and was amazed at how helpful the staff was to brush off snow and chip away ice on my car to get me safely on my way. Kudos to all of you! I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay again.

Mainly a business hotel. Hardly anyone around when my gf and I stayed over Thanksgiving weekend. Room was great, though not especially large. Paid for access to the top floor club lounge, which was good value. Richmond is a fun place to visit.
