I stayed at the motel on April 15 and April 27. It is showing its age with some peeling paint and old stains on a chair and the carpet, but the room and bathroom were very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the amenities quite satisfactory. The WiFi connection wasn't instant-on, but it worked once I was connected. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I chose the motel because it is pet-friendly and I was traveling with my Pomeranian, and it was a good choice, even though it was some minutes from I-85.

Not bad for the price, but hotel is in need of some renovations -- had to go through a few of rooms to get one where everything such as television remote & shower worked. Staff is very friendly and the price is right.

I recently stayed in this hotel on December 20th after a 9 hour drive from New York. I found the hotel staff very accomidating and also very friendly. It was late and I was exhausted from my drive and just wanted a fast and easy check in so I could get ready for the next day. I was pleasantly surprised at my room. After reading some of the reviews that have been posted about this hotel, I was hesitant about staying there, but with my hands tied financially, this was the only hotel in the area in my price range. Expecting the worst, but hoping for the best, I entered my room to find a king size bed, a plenty big enough television, and even a microwave and a mini fridge. I will admit that I have stayed in nicer, more extravagant hotel rooms, but I would like to point out that for the cost of the room that I got, it was VERY reasonable. I was also very surprised to see that I had a free internet hook up, what a plus! I slept great, I checked out on time, everyone I came in contact with, as far as hotel employees, were all very nice, asked questions, offered help, and let me know about the free breakfast. I have read many reviews about this particular hotel and I for one, never saw one bug or rodent, my room was not infested or stuffy. My room was clean and fully stocked and everyone was very friendly. Should I ever be in the area again, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. A lot of people only think about the bad things when they look at something, I would just like to point out all the good things I experienced in my night stay with this hotel. Thanks Guys!!

Stayed on the third floor - no ice machine and guest laundry gave the corridor a strange smell. Room was decent enough for the price. Its a little way out of Richmond. Pool is overlooked by lorry park. Probably could do with a little updating but was pretty full when we were there so must be doing something right.
