I asked a local at the Richmond Art Museum where the best food could be found and he said five blocks away in Carytown. There are several good places. One of my favorites was the bonvenu. I ate there twice. Very imaginative cusine, with a nice wine list and very nice staff. Owner Susan Doyle is a very charming individual and her food is superb. Two doors away on the corner is a very nice wine bar that pairs its international wine list with some very fine tapas-like food preparations. Restaurants range from pubs to nouvelle cuisine. A great place to relax.
