I've reviewed LGBG before, from the perspective of a daylight, in season visit, but wanted to review the holiday light display they have this time of year. We went last night, which was our first time doing this, and it was very nice. Great for kids and adults alike, and they've really put together something special that should be a "must do" on your holiday list. The gardens at Ginter lend themselves very well to this sort of thing, & they did a great job closing certain pathways so you have pretty much a loop around the lake that is easy to follow. There are a couple of places for kids to really run around & explore, especially in the Children's Garden, but those areas are fairly contained. The labyrinth was fun, & the playhouse in the Children's Garden offers some great photo ops of the whole gardens.
We've been to Brookgreen Garden's "Night of 1000 Candles" in South Carolina the past 2 years as well, and while it is also wonderful, I think the Ginter event is superior, especially for children. We'll definitely return next year.
