“A holiday must!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2014 NEW

I've reviewed LGBG before, from the perspective of a daylight, in season visit, but wanted to review the holiday light display they have this time of year. We went last night, which was our first time doing this, and it was very nice. Great for kids and adults alike, and they've really put together something special that should be a "must do" on your holiday list. The gardens at Ginter lend themselves very well to this sort of thing, & they did a great job closing certain pathways so you have pretty much a loop around the lake that is easy to follow. There are a couple of places for kids to really run around & explore, especially in the Children's Garden, but those areas are fairly contained. The labyrinth was fun, & the playhouse in the Children's Garden offers some great photo ops of the whole gardens.

We've been to Brookgreen Garden's "Night of 1000 Candles" in South Carolina the past 2 years as well, and while it is also wonderful, I think the Ginter event is superior, especially for children. We'll definitely return next year.

“Great day as a family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2014 via mobile

Our family enjoyed the kids area of the botanic gardens. There was a lot for the young kids to learn and discover. Please note there is a water splash play area, so plan accordingly. There are changing rooms to use. We also loved to walk through the rest of gardens. A highly recommend for a family with younger kids.

“Totally Awesome. Worth Every Dime”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2014

Too much good stuff to write here. Suffice it to say that its well worth the time and few bucks it costs to visit this place when all the Christmas lights are on. Looking forward to visiting again when all the plantings are in bloom

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2014

We visited years ago when Christmas lighting was new in this garden. We drove 2-3 hours to come back and see it again. Spectacular!
