“A-ma-zing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Such a gorgeous beach, we've just come back from a few days away and this beach was an absolutel highlight. There were loads of people kite-surfing and windsurfing and inspite of the weather being a tad parky - it was an incredible sight... I loved it and would be fascinated to see what it was like "in season!.... A very special place...

“beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

Lovvely beach with wonderful hues, turqoise water and fine white sand. I've heard that it easily gets crowded during high-season but we went in beginning of september and the weather was still very nice and warm (aq bit windy though) but there wasn't any problem finding a good spot on the beach.

“Crystal Waters”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

By far the best beach I have visited since I swam in Bali, beautiful clear waters pollution free and extremely safe. Downside is the sheer number of people, real estate is at a premium but you can swim off the rocks. Don't drive here you'll end up walking for miles and pay a fortune, regular bus service from Stintino is the way to travel and only costs a euro.

“The changing colours of La Pelosa Beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

We visited and stayed at La Pelosa Beach for ten days this last August. We had a villa accommodation very close by but we only managed to visit the actual beach 2 or 3 times as it is almost impossible to find a place to park during the day time,so we went at dusk, even at that time is still beautiful,if you don`t get there early in the morning, forget it,you struggle to find a spot to lay your towel!August is a mad time to go there, but you can still appreciate the beauty of the place....the local council is planning a way to actually "reduce"the number of visitors as they are polluting the environment and slowly destroying the beauty of this Caribbean looking marvel. We will surely go back to Stintino, but not during August

“Beautiful busy expensive spot!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

The beach is so busy in high season that you are lucky to find a square inch of space or be left alone for 10 minutes with the sellers constantly bringing their goods round. Hiring a couple of loungers and an umbrella will set you back 19euros but is worth it for the actually being able to site down! The beach is beautiful and worth going later in the day as the crowds disperse after 6:30/7pm and the sunset is lovely. The views over the islands are great and the water is lovely to swim in. The parking is very expensive, very busy, and expect to park up a steep hill. The food and drinks available from small bars or mobile fridges are expensive too so recommend bringing your own.
