What a wonderful place to visit, staff are fantastic, beaches beautiful and not too busy.

So many choices of food and dinning experiences, complemented by local wines and entertainment.

Pools disappointing they are all salt water fed, so no so child friendly but once used to it plenty of choice and space.

Room luxurious great air con, surroundings fab with wildlife to watch nice and quiet

What a huge disapointment this resort was! We went to Forte Village in August for the the "Super Skills" rugby course (which in itself was fabulous and the raison d'etre and saving grace of the holiday), but the resort itself is ghastly.
It's tired, full of surly nouveau riche russians rubbing shoulders with genteel middle class brits paying massively over the odds for poor quality and service and the evening entertainment is frankly laughable.
Don't be fooled by the "King's New Clothes" hype put out by Forte's marketing dept - if you have an iota of good taste and good sense, go elsewhere.

I stayed at Forte Village for a few days when I was there for work meetings and was lucky enough to be able to bring my wife with me.

We were given a room on the first floor of the beautifully furnished Royal Pineta Hotel set in a magnificent pine wood.

We really liked the restaurant where we had breakfast and lunch and the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea.

My wife had time to use both the pools and the spa, which she said she enjoyed most of all for its Kneipp therapy for the legs.

We loved the hotel and the resort in general, and I can most definitely say that we are planning to come back.

We stayed in two connecting units in Royal Pineta. We were welcomed on arrival by the Manager who gave us a tour of the resort while the bags went to the rooms. We were impressed by the variety of restaurants and swimming pools, with the diving pools of particular interest to our children. Favourite restaurants were Pineta Buffet and La Locandra.

Our children did the rugby camp (Super Skills Travel), which was excellent. They were not interested in the children's club or the teenagers club. We saw lots of smaller children about, not so many older ones. Go karting was great fun and the free electronic games area an unexpected bonus. Offsite activities were expensive in our view, so we gave the horseriding a miss. The beach is long but narrow. The staff organise loungers and towels well, but it is not a private beach. We stayed in the pools for most of our acquatic time.

The Spa was welcoming and the treatments very relaxing.

Having towels changed twice a day meant a lot as the weather was very hot so there were lots of showers. Staff were very pleasant, both when speaking with them and also when passing by throughout the resort.

Rooms were clean but could do with a refurb. Soundproofing is not great. The interconnecting units worked very well for us, but generally the resort struggles with larger families (we are 6) and could do with some accommodation designed for this category.

Overall we had a very relaxing week, with everyone happy and asking about next year. That's some achievement with 6 involved!

We spent 4 days at the Forte village in June and stayed in the La Pineta hotel within the complex. My partner had a work conference here. The room was clean and tidy but very very dated and basic. It had a safe, and the basics you expect in a hotel room. The bathroom and shower fittings were not working properly and the grouting was falling out. My partners work had payed for the room, however if we had been paying to stay in this room at the rate the hotel had charged, I would have immediatley asked to move to a room reflecting the cost.
Aside the room the hotel itself is spotlessly clean, and the gardens well presented. The beach is great and no need to rush to get your self a sun bed as there is always plenty. The beach sellers are kept at bay by security who also make sure your not ripped off!!
We had breakfast in the Oasis and this was adequate and no better than any other European hotel with the choices on offer. To give an idea of drinks, a water and a coke was a little under 10 euros.
The evening entertainment was very professional.
If you have money to waste this is the ideal hotel as they would bill you for fresh air if they could! Because this was a works trip, it was a nice short break away, but by choice I would not stay in this hotel or reccomend it. I think there is much more warming, welcoming and more friendly hotels around Sardinia, which I might add is a fantastic place and will definately visit again, just not the forte village!

Like many others my family, the 2 of us and our 2 young sons (both under 4) had a fantastic holiday.

We stayed in the Royal Pienta and it's was stunning, with adjoining rooms that were comfortable, private and clean it was a great base for our stay.

There is nothing I can fault about our holiday and some of the other comments I read before we went didn't turn out to be our experience, e.g. Wireless Internet was 10€ per day or 40€ for 7 days.

Restaurants were great, so much to chose from, we ended up at the Cavalieri most nights as the buffet was both varied and excellent but more importantly we could eat quickly and that proved invaluable given the attention span of small children :)

Entertainment, well what can I say - if you don't like the beach, swimming pools, bowling, tennis, mini club, football, rugby, go karting, table tennis, cycling and walking through lovely grounds then the resort isn't for you!!

Finally, for us the real magic is with the people who run the resort, from front office to those in the restaurants, forte you have great staff and we really felt welcome, we will be back for more!!

As a family holiday this really did surpass all our expectations, the service was excellent, really friendly and helpful staff on hand at all times. The Rugby Academy was incredible, the children loved having such fantastic training with legendary heroes of the game, and other parents we met felt the same, 'the best holiday ever!' was the theme! Amazing food, great facilities.... we'll definitely be back!!
