“Worth a stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2014 via mobile

Interesting exhibits with two interesting films, one on LBJ and one on Lady Bird. While you may not agree with his politics it is amazing to see how much he accomplished compared to what gets done, or not done, in Washington today.

“Very interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

We are in our late 20s, so we weren't alive during the LBJ years, but we still found it incredibly interesting to walk around the settlement. The displays in the visitor's center were very informative and very well done. The settlement grounds were beautiful and very interesting to walk around.

“LBJ White House Years in TX”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

I have visited the LBJ Ranch from time to time over the past 40 years. Being able to now tour the home of the former Johnson First Family is so interesting! They have done a marvelous job of the restorations and how you are able to tour the home - from his "Presidential" office, to the kitchen, bathroom and closets with their personal clothes. Amazing! I guess I enjoy returning here time and time again as LBJ was president through my high school years and remember so much about that time. Amazing to see what was so stylish then! They actually have a very simply and comfy home on the ranch. Check it out!

“Nice Stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2014

Visited with a group of friends. We saw the movie and we all left feeling like we got to know LBJ a little more than we did. We left there for his ranch. Nice little town.

“Even someone from California finds it fascinating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2014

I was on a long bike ride through Texas and stopped. It is remarkable how much of his home has been saved. Through the house you get a real feeling for what the man was really like, which is not something that normal happens in a museum. I had a negative view of lbj because if the war, but this made it clear to me he was very multiple dimensional.
