Accomodation was everything the pictures promise and more. First class apartment designs by Flavio, who takes great care to make your stay as special as possible. The resort is quirky and fun. We also enjoyed being adopted by Mozzarella the cat who made us feel at home by moving in when not adopting a family a few doors away. Lots of local information about what to see and the best ploaces to eat. We will be back

The accommodation was very nice - perfect for a romantic get-away. Really nice views and very well finished throughout. The mattress is very comfortable (we had enquired about this beforehand) but the pillows are very big and firm so we can't rate sleep quality 'Excellent'. There are lots of good photographic opportunities if you are that way inclined. As well as nicely finished interiors, the exterior of the complex is attractive and the gardens feature plenty of rosemary which was handy for BBQing!

Location good for doing not a lot (in a good way). We visited in October (late) and the place was definitely slowing down - for instance it was impossible to purchase fresh fish without heading out to Olbia (approx 25 mins away). The local beaches are very pleasant and there is good walking to be had locally. Flavio also charts a running/walking circuit which is useful for the early mornings!

Flavio has obviously gone to a lot of trouble to compose his guide and there are comprehensive sections on a variety of topics which we read about prior to arriving. One minor point is the enthusiasm with which local restaurants are recommended - we took advice and visited 4 of supposedly the best places but in each case the reality did not meet the expectation. That is not to say there was anything wrong with each place, but perhaps such high expectations should not be set. With a few ingredients we found we could cook perfectly well (the kitchen is well equipped) and enjoy the view from our own terrace.

If you want to go away for a week, stay somewhere comfortable and relax, this place fits the bill.

Room Tip: Room 9 small but views of Tavolara

We have been in that lovely small resort for ten days in the after-season- last week of september. We are a young family with a 2 years old son. The nice pictures on TripAdvisor led us to the decision to book here. The booking-procedure itself seemed at first sight a little complicated but now, afterwards it make sense. With the contract which the owner sent, we got a very detailed documentation about Porto San Paolo and the nicest places around (beautiful beaches, nice Restaurants etc.) Attention: a car is absolutely necessary!

The appartments are very clean and well equipped. The standard is chosen from the owner as it would it be his owns. We had Appartment N°4 which had a direct view on the small islands on the coastline. Everything you need is available (in case booked it). BBQ, Toaster, baby chair, Baby-Bed, ... The team is available at any time (if needed) and tries do answer all of your question.

Conclusion: absolut recommendable!

We spend two weeks in a absolutly high standard object. App. No 5 show you a magnificant view to the sea. Flavio (owner) and his team are perfect. You are really warmly welcome and feel a familiar atmosphere. Flavio's private tipps "for everything you need" are especially useful. We will come back again in 2013.

My daughter and myself have just stayed for 7 nights in apartment 6. It is ideal for 2 with plenty of space for storage and a well organised kitchen. The view from the balcony is superbwith the sea one way and the hills the other. We had some amazing sunrises and the Island of Tavolera turns pink at sunset. We arrived late and had to phone Flavio,(the owner), but he was there in a minute and immediately made us feel welcome. We had plenty of information before we arrived and his Guide is very useful. As the bridge near Olbia airport is closed his redirections were spot on it could have been fun finding the Village in the dark. If you are arriving in the dark it is well worth having a torch with you so you can read directions. A car is necessary to get around to visit the beaches and the mountains (Some places may seem very close but with the windy roads it takes a bit longer). Capo Testa and the Islands were a must and these were lovely. On Flavios recommendation we went to the Farmhouse restaurant of Casteddu. It was an amazing place and the food delicious (about 12 different plates of antipasta main course etc). Thank you Flavio for making us welcome. We would definitely recommend thie Village to friends and family and hopefully we will return in the near futrue.

We were 12 days in L'Ea di Lavru and felt comfortable.

We had booked the apartment number 9, and had a direct view of the island Tavolara.
The apartment number 9 was a good choice, because here we had a large terraced,
without insight.

From the Village you can visit nearly great beaches. (just ask Flavio)
The seas in this area is a dream and ideal for beach holidays.

Flavio took care of us very well and his tips were wonderful.

One point deduction by us because the complicated booking and extras have to be paid on demand. (Toasters, umbrellas, beds, tv, etc.)

In other stays in Europe, we were used to that the extras are included in the price.

That will not get us stop to come again. Flavio has with his charm and intensive management the small negatives points refilled.

Also for families, the Village is optimal.

We felt very happy and we will come back.

Myself and my husband stayed at L'Ea di Lavru for 1 week during the second part ouf our honeymoon in Sardinia. We had a fabulous stay at L'Ea di Lavru which was made more special by the help of Flavio. Flavio was so helpful to us in finding the best beaches and restaurants.

Our particular favourite beach was La Cinta, we walked about 15mins along the beach and even during August managed to find a failr quiet part of the beach. The beaches were one of the highlights of our trip to Sardinia, the backdrop of mountains made the views spectacular. We visited serveral of Flavio's restaurant suggestions durign our stay, our favourite which we visisted twice was Il Fare. We liked this place as it was in walking distance from our apartment, the service was great and the food was lovely and quite reasonable too! The views at this place if you visit during daylight hours are lovely of the Tavolara island.

One of our other favourite spots was the Cafe del Roses cocktail bar which was stunning with the panoramic views as well as great cocktails, quite strong ones i might add!

The apartment we stayed in was no 9, which was one of the smaller ones but it was plenty of space for us both. The apartment was clean and modern with alarge TV, essential as our stay was during the London Olympics!

The only thing i would say is that as Porto San Paulo is a fairly small place, so you do need a car to get around to the best places which wasn't a problem as we had a hire car. We tended not to spend much time in Porto San Paulo so used the apartment more as a base.

Thanks to Flavio and Marco for making our stay so special.
