“Everyone loved their food - portions were massive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2011

so ignore the lackluster bread basket. You are about to "get served" huge, steaming portions of delish authentic Greek food. The restaurant is accustomed to serving audiences who are rushing off to see shows at the Lowell auditorium so don't be shy about asking for quick service if you need to make a curtain. The shrimp appetizer in olive oil and vegetable knoced everyone's socks off and was passed around. App plates are easily dinner sized portions and dinner portions would satisfy a cromagnan family on a rampage.

“Canned peas and over-baked baklava!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2011

Chicken kabob had plenty of chicken, well-cooked, with two small pieces of green pepper and 2 small pieces of onion.
Spinach pie was very stingy on the feta cheese.
Soup included with meal - the lentil soup was very tasty, but there was no vegetarean choice of soup and waitress would not change to salad without an 'upcharge'. The greek salad was mostly iceberg lettuce.
Vegetable choices included peas - a big serving of canned peas - YUCK! The zuchini choice was a 1-1/2" long end of a zuchini, overcooked (mushy).
Potato or rice - we both chose the 'potato casserole', which turned out to be a medium-sized potato, sliced in half with a tasty orange sauce on it.
The baklava in our shared sundae was overcooked, almost to the burned stage.
The bathrooms are up some steep stairs in this small place. There is a function room also on the 2nd floor - peaked in the window door to see veggie boxes stacked up and a FILTHY carpet - garbage, etc as if there had been a recent party.

“Fantastic Find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2010

We found this restaurant by accident while visiting my son at UMass--a lot of restaurants are closed on Mondays in Lowell(?)! How lucky for us! Delicious, inexpensive, well- prepared authentic Greek food, desserts were scrumptious, service was excellent. If you're there on weekend nights, they also have music...and belly dancers!
