A high-rise Residence Inn located near the MIT campus, the hotel is well run and great for an in-town stay. It is about 2 blocks away from the T, and on weekends, the area is really nice and quiet. We had a one-bedroom suite with sofa-bed in the living room for the 3 of us (husband and mother). The only problem that we had was that there was no ventilating fan in the bathroom -- or if there was, it certainly wasn't working at all well, making it a bit uncomfortable with the three of us. The indoor swimming pool and spa were lovely, and the exercise room was well-equipped and well-used. Breakfast each morning was plentiful, but in the three days we were there, we wondered why no bacon was available. The evening socials were spectacular; great food was provided. We will definitely return there the next time we're in the Boston area.
