“Great service and great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

The service stood out as, rather than the 'we don't split bills' that makes it difficult at times, the waitperson ensured that the six of us received separate bills, for our individually placed orders. She was competent and cheerful. The meals were great in more ways than one. Beware. If you are not a large eater do not select a starter, or choose one to share. The spanakopita is a good choice for sharing.

Do order a plate of sweet potato chips for sharing. They are (once again) 'great'!

One of our group enjoyed the breakfast and we all enjoyed our dinner at Zoe's. Next time I am in Cambridge (a yearly jaunt) I'll be back. I expect that some of my companions will be also.

“This restaurant is a hidden gem near Harvard Square.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

If you are in the Harvard Square area and you like diner style restaurants, Zoe's is the place to go. The selection is excellent! They boast and extensive menu. There were so many choices, I had a hard time deciding what to get. You can get many types of sandwiches and wraps as well as full course dinners. The food is good and so are the portions. The prices are excellent for what you receive. The service is quick. I will definitely go back.

“A large diner from the 1950's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

An absolutely great menu with standards, well done. Breakfasts are great, as are dinners. Free wifi. A very experienced staff who actually try to be nice. Doesn't always succeed but the effort is made.

“Cute Find in Harvard Square”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Zoe's is an adorable, subterranean diner (well, not quite subterranean--but it does feel like it) right on the edge of Harvard Square. We went for a weekday late-morning breakfast and were seated right away. The waiter was friendly and promptly took our order, and we got our food quickly.

The french toast was abundant and very good--not overly creative, but it fit the bill, especially with the fresh strawberries that we added to our order. They also use real maple syrup, which is always a big plus!

We also had the chocolate chip pancakes, which were ok--but not fluffy as described on the menu. Still, we certainly didn't leave hungry and would go to Zoe's again!

“Amazing Diner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

An amazing modern diner, with traditional/modern decor. Really well known and busy, so try to get there for a later morning brunch. There are traditional booths and tables, with areas to hang up your coats (if you're visiting in winter).

The food is excellent an you can definitely be tempted by the specials and pancakes. Take time to splurge here - it's worth it.
