“Intimate but kind of souless”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

I suppose if the play you come to see is good the ambiance of the theater doesn't really matter. The play I saw here, though, wasn't that great and the experience as a whole left me unimpressed. The lobby has the feel of a modern office, the bar is small, expensive and not well stocked and the seats are not very comfortable.

“Small and Intimate, and good seats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

This small theater seats only 150 people. The audience sits on either side of the stage and looks down on the performance, and is only 10 rows deep. You can clearly see the actor's faces and the acoustics are good. The set design, though simple is effective. We saw the "Mountain Top", a play about Martin Luther King. I thought the venue was very effective for the play. The people that run the theater are very welcoming. The seating is fairly comfortable. There is a waiting area outside were they sell beverages and snacks. My only concern was that if you are seated on the far side of the theater from the door (where we were sitting - see picture): you won't be able to easily exit for the bathroom or a drink without interrupting the performance or walking in front of people. My recommendation is to sit in the seats near to to the exit. Parking is available in a garage around the block
