“Fantastic and unique in Cambridge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Being Tunisian, when i knew there was a tunisian algerian restaurant i wanted to try it out of curiosity, just to see how it compares to tunisian food in tunisia. what a great surprise! i had a couscous brochette and that was one of the best couscous i ever had! they also serve a local lemonade made with rose petals, which is excellent. the service is great and great atmosphere for such a small place. keep in mind thst they do not serve alcohol but trust me you will not miss it. the server can be overwhelmed if you go on a busy night but still we were served greatly. Such a unique, different and original food from what you generslly find there. Definitely go check it.

“Nice Vegetarian Dish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

Went there with family to celebrate our daughter's graduation from college. I had an eggplant dish and others took chicken and lamb. We all enjoyed the food.

Owners are working in this restaurant. They can be a bit overwhelmed with a crowded place and that was one of those busy nights. However, it was OK and we were not bothered by it. We had been here before so we were expecting this.

Parking is a challenge so I suggest you don't bring a car.

“Unique and Delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

We wanted a different cuisine that we could walk to from Central Square. The food was delicious, the atmosphere welcoming. The cheesecake specialty was worth savoring.

“Surprising good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Not really 'African' food but Algerian-Tunisian cuisine.
We have arrived on a weekend close to 4pm, which is their closing time, so we had to order fast. The place is relatively small and I guess that when it is full it is kind of hard to maneuver around the place. We had an Open-face tuna Sandwiches which was very good (lots of vegetables and not too spicy), and the Melkha (stuffed eggplant with feta cheese, cured black olives, scallions, parsley, spinach, gruyere cheese & lemon juice served on a bed of couscous) which was amazing. My wife ordered their sweet hot tea which was delicious. Service was OK. Could not see any restrooms (the place is very small) but maybe they are outside somewhere.
