“outstanding friendly place for adults to eat with children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

This should be a chain. So friendly and helpful. 2 small children content with the Play Space at rear of restaurant, where they are urged to use "inside voices" . Adults able to enjoy a pitcher of sangria for $20, Norway eggs with smoked salmon for $13, maple bread pudding with ice cream $7. Quick and pleasant service.
Wish we had discovered last year.

“Leave the child haters at home but don't miss brunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

We chose this casual, friendly place for its welcoming vibe for children - there's a separate play area - but the eight adults sure did enjoy the food! The two-and-a-half year old played happily in the well conceived play space and only popped by briefly for his chocolate chip pancake before zooming off with a truck. We all heartily enjoyed our meals (green eggs and ham, yay!) and the staff was so welcoming and patient with all the noise. They deserve medals. We'd even come back for dinner later when hopefully all the little ones are tucked into bed and we can hear ourselves think. The Huron Village setting has great small shops and markets and is worthy of a trip too.

“Perfect for families with young kids, good for others”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

It was started when the current owners had small kids and wanted a place where they and other families could come and be comfortable. And they have succeeded. Great play area with toys and space to move. Food is good. Very popular with young families and it's in a family-friendly neighborhood, as well. YOu'd hardly know that HArvard is just down the road -- it feels so hometown and welcoming to all!

“Not as noisy as one would expect, great food and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Being that this is a kid friendly restaurant we expected a lot of noise, but it wasn't that way at all. The food was great, the service was great and the prices were also very good. The only tiny tiny issue is that the wine listed was a 2009 and the wine served was a 2010. Not a lot to complain about when you see all the positives from this place. Need a bite with young kids....here's the place.

“Wonderful for children and parents!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

This restaurant has the best of both worlds - great food and a fun play area for small children. The staff are great and the food is as good as you'd get at a non-family friendly establishment. I wish there were more restaurants like this!
