A small bistro from Paris dropped on a side street in Harvard Square. Front is a metal Art Deco repro of a Metro station entrance. Inside warm and comfortable. Hostess, Wini, friendliest in Boston. Love her. Must have the flammenkueche. It's like pizza but this has smoked bacon, mushrooms cheese. Incredible. Repeat: incredible. The charcuterie has home made pâtés. The fois gras brought tears of joy. Entree Alsatian Choucroute Garnie au Riesling includes sausage, pork loin, ham hock, sauerkraut, hickory smoked bacon and potato. Words cannot describe how this country dish will beguile your palate. Wines and dessert are off the chart. Good selection of port. One of my favorite spots.
