“Simply put, a very good sushi place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

The menu had a long selection of sushi. We were 15 people and had to wait a bit, but it was understandable considering the size of our party and the fact that it was a Saturday night. They gave us the big table they have where we sat with our legs crossed, which made the experience kind of nice and different; all the other tables are normal. It has a nice atmosphere and good, fresh sushi. The service was fairly quick, although employees were not really that friendly. If you enjoy efficient service without necessarily getting a smile, you'll be okay. Heads up if you're going with a big group like us - they do not accept more than 8 credit cards per table.

“A little loud - but good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013 via mobile

I hate to day it... but this place needs a gay man or a woman to attend to details. Lots of people standing around. ( however we were at the end of lunch ). Service was good; but lacked that connectivity. SMILE... BE Happy!! Bathrooms were could be nicer. Food good, but like most everything in the Boston area expensive.

“Fusion as affordable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

After a graduation, we went for dinner and were seated immediately with no wait. We were all vegetarian our appetizers were Soft rice veggie rolls, Miso soup. and a Mushroom ginger noodle soup which was flavorful and nice prepared. Our sushi orders were just right and sumptuous to say the least, while the entree portions were moderately spiced to adjust salt to individual taste. While ordering Thai curry, request the Chef to omit Fish sauce. On the whole, you will not go wrong at this restaurant for fusion, friendly service and most of all affordability.

“Varied fusion menu. Great food but not cheap.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

I'd recommend Thelonious Monkfish for a somewhat-special dinner, or maybe a long lunch if you're in the area. The lunch prices/dishes are more reasonably priced and smaller portioned. The food is great, I've never had a roll or noodle dish that I didn't like. They definitely aren't shy with the spice on their grapow!

“Great food, nice atmosphere, make reservations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

This place is great. The atmosphere is nice, a little crowded for dinner, so you are in close proximity to others, but that is a testament to their awesome food. Make reservations if you can remember to so you don't end up waiting. You cant go wrong with anything on their menu. They serve alcoholic beverages now, which they didn't when they first started. The scallop sushi is great, as well as the strawberry muchi,
